USCG Sector Miami is co-located with Base Miami Beach on Causeway Island in Miami Beach, FL, just beside the MacArthur Causeway. The base lies between downtown Miami and Miami Beach. Across the MacArthur Causeway to the west of Miami, is the town of Coral Gables, FL, under 10 miles from the facility. Also nearby, about 16 miles inland and to the north of the MacArthur Causeway facility is the CG Air Station Miami next to the Opa Locka Airport.
