Officer housing on base is decent with a large yard and more for your money than you would find in town. The only negative is you share your driveway so expect to get to know your neighbors. Everyone knows everyone so if you are a private person I don't recommend this. If you love to meet new people, then this is perfect!

"Housing in Ventura/Point Magu"
I love the city of Ventura because it has the best schools and best quality of life. It’s near the beach and a really cute town. Very cool downtown. We lived on base housing which is on Ventura NBVC (Point Magu). There are townhomes, a bit older with great backyards. (Your other housing options are located in Camarillo - Catalina Heights)
