Cheyenne Mountain Air Station: Comanche Village

"Great neighborhood!"

I currently live in Comanche Village on Fort Carson base. It is a small circle neighborhood with one way in and out which is nice! We dont have to worry about being extremely close to major roads which lead to traffic. That being said, there are a lot of kids playing and you do have to drive very cuatiously as some kids may not see you or know to move out of the road when you are approaching. If another parent sees this though they will usually tell the child to watch out and please go onto the side walk which is very courteous! A lot of friendly neighbors here as well. It is right next to the closed gate 2 but the gate 3 would be the closest to come in and out of. Abrams Elementary is the school for elementary aged kids (not sure of any other age group) and is within walking distance. Very short distance to walmart/sams outside of gate 3 and Pikes peak college. There is alsp a Dunkin Donuts, pizza hut and Baskin robins within walking distance as well. As far as the house itself, it is really nice. I wish there was more storage but its not too bad. Garage is somewhat narrow, good size backyard and 2 neighborhood playgrounds. You can eiterh get 3 bedrooms or 4 here. I have a 3 bedroom and one room is very small (my son is in that one) and the larger room I have my 2 daughters sharing. Master bedroom comes with a master bathroom and decent sized closet. Theres a decent sized pantry, a formal dining are and small living room. Hallway closet across from our garage dooe and a linen closet across from the bathroom upstairs. We have one half bath downstairs next to the garage as well so total of 3 bathrooms.
