"NAS Whiting Field off-base military housing"
do not recall the name of the Duplex, however it was the off-base "base housing" oriented with NAS Whiting Field. This was our first duty station as newlyweds. It was a great place to start. It is mostly duplex living with lots of families and pets. Milton is a very small town north of Pensacola with very little there, but Pensacola is fabulous and it is a short 15-20 minute drive there. You can access Destin and other beautiful areas of the panhandle from this location. We met a lot of people on our street whom we still keep in touch with now, 8 years later. It is a fun community and safe as well. I do not know much about the schools here as we did not have children at the time. It is humble living but a great quality of life. Very family friendly and social and I felt safe!
