Fort Knox: Knox Hills

There are several different neighborhoods here at Fort Knox. We live in Oak Park and really like it here. We are within walking distant of the elementary school and there are several parks in the neighborhood for the kids. We feel safe in our neighborhood with MP patrolling the area on a regular basis. We live in a 3 bedroom 2 story duplex style house. The downstairs is open and spacious. We have a fenced in back yard which is great for the kids and the dogs. We were worried about sound traveling due to being in a duplex style house but we do not hear our neighbors and they say they do not hear us.

We live in the Oak park Neighbor hood. There are several different areas to live and each have their own Pro's and Con's. I can only speak for the Oak Park division. We have an ADA home and find it perfect for a family of four. The bed rooms are a good size and the bathrooms are spacious. We have a one story house but the neighborhood offers three different floor plans. We have a spacious white vinyl fenced in back yard. We like that we do not have to go through the gate in high volume times and can get to everything we need in 10 mins. We feel safe in our neighborhood and regularly see MPs paroling for safety. Some neighbors are friendlier that others, it is up to your degree of involvement. Our street has neighborhood BBQs and all enjoy getting to know each other.
