"Great Goose Creek Housing"

I really enjoyed living on base. The community was great, especially if you had smaller kids. The tiger mosquito swarms were awful. It was unbearable to go outside the house during the summer months. Otherwise, the other seasons were fine. It was really nice having my husband home on lunch breaks and saving on us on gas. If you live out in town, the base is very long and narrow so getting anywhere can take over 10 minutes. Make sure to add that to the time it takes to commute to base.

Pros Cons
  1. no commute
  2. great community
  3. great for kids
  1. Mosquitos in summer
