NSA Mid South: Millington Base Housing

Lived in Capehart for 2+ years. Houses are dated and plain. No frills, old appliances and subpar fixtures. Yards are tiny and seem to flood easily.

Property management team has no regard for tenants and set unreasonable expectations. Residents are responsible for all landscaping in the backyard, which was very inconvenient, as I rarely used it for anything. Move-out expectations were very unrealistic and we were responsible for cleaning EVERYTHING, including things that SHOULD be the landlord's responsibility.

Paying $1250/month for an old rental house was bad enough, but the property management team made the overall experience very negative, especially near the end. They were extremely nitpicky and tried to nickel and dime a ton of extra fees out of us when we finished our lease. Very unethical and they do not have the right mentality for a company that is supposed to be servicing military members and their families.

Lots of room to run. Large, new 2 story homes. I believe these houses are for E-8 to O-5. Small yards, but lots of room in between. 4 br, 2.5 ba

The schools are not good aligned to base BUT their equestrian facilities are amazing. If you are a horse person, it's worth looking into base housing. They just built new single family homes on base in 2010 that are nice. I'd live there if my kids were in pre-school or out of school.
