Berry Pines: Off Base Apartment Complex

"Would not recommend"

Do not live here if you're looking for an apartment. It is cheaper than a lot of the alternatives, but there's a reason. There are a few flight students here but the majority are in Whiting Pines (off base housing), Collins Mill Creek Apartments, houses, or in Pensacola. There are quite a few local people that live here. It does not give you a feeling of safety. Never had a problem with the landlord or maintenance, the place runs smoothly but is just ugly, outdated, and full of a lot of people you'd rather not live near. We had to call the cops on our neighbor, who had been arrested 7 times previously but was still allowed to live there. Berryhill is a noisy road if you happen to live near the street, lots of ambulances heading to the hospital.
