Review

"Eastern Shore"

I liked the small town feel, fishing pier, shopping, and the local shops. I also enjoyed the Mardi Gras activities.

  • How would you describe this Area of Town: museum, shopping, neighborhood, outdoor activities, locals spot
  • Recommendations: I recommend this area because its nice cozy feel. If you love to fish this is your place. The downtown area has a nice fishing peer, grilling areas. Beach area a restaurant on the pier. It has a great school system which is Baldwin County. Nice downtown walk able areas. Mardi Gras activities. Fairhope is a central location. My husband worked in Mobile Al it was about a 20 min drive if that. Your an hour away from Pensacola,Mississippi, about 3 from Louisiana which was our NRD. 10 mins from downtown Mobile, which has a nice downtown area with bars and resturants.

Local Favorites

  • Restaurants: I recommend any restaurant on the Causeway
  • Happy Hour Spot: Downtown
  • Shopping: Downtown Fairhope shops and Spanish Fort Outlets and Orange Beach Outlets
