Camarillo is located halfway between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. It's about 10 miles from the beach and a fabulous town to live in. Great if you are stationed at Pt. Mugu or Port Hueneme. You cannot beat the Mediterranean climate. (average 72 degrees year round) There is the Saturday Farmer's Market in Old Town, Camarillo Premium Outlets, Summer time free evening concerts on the weekends at Constitution park, Camarillo Christmas Parade, and the lost goes on. So much for kids to do here, and the schools are great too! It's a very very safe city and I will definitely come back to live here again someday!!!!
