We loved living in seaside. Wish the weather was better here but it is what it is. I loved the little shops and having a target close by. It’s a very busy town. Location as I honk everyone is going to target or costco. When we were leaving this area they were putting in an in and out burger so I imagine it’s even more busy now. Go check out the wharf area. Great food and great community feel. We lived in Seaside highlands above the bay not far from the high school. It’s an expensive community with a beautiful view but not great schools.

We enjoyed living in Seaside Highlands. Our rental house was more spacious than base housing and we were told we paid a good price for what was given to us for housing allowence. Commuting from this neighborhood was convenient because we were close to the freeway and an easy ten or fifteen minute drive to DLI, the post graduate school or Cannery row. Within a five minute drive you can shop at a number of grocery stores, costco, a gas station, and much more. This community of homes seems very safe and good for families with young children and pets. We do not have school aged children but were told the schools associated with the neighborhood are not the best. There is a cute footpath that goes throughout the neighborhood. This neighborhood is worth looking into!
