"Old town meets College Town in Ft Collins"
If you're stationed at FE Warren and want a nice, downtown / college town place to live, Ft. Collins is a great option. A nice historic downtown area, bike paths, lots of funky little shops and places to eat, bars and more.
There is no shortage of things to do, and Colorado State University keeps the town fun and charged with energy.
The drawback is the commute in winter, up to FE Warren. Although it's fairly simple - just a straight shot up I-25, during winter, storms can close the interstate. If you can't get to base, due to weather - that can cause problems with your leadership and in your unit.
- Pet Friendly: Yes

- How would you describe this Area of Town: cultural, artistic, shopping, parks and recreation, neighborhood, outdoor activities, restaurants & bars, night life
- Recommendations: Commute to FE Warren can be nasty in winter, particularly during snow and weather.
