"Quaint But Up And Coming"

The river walk in this area is great for walking your dog or pushing your kids in a stroller. You can even go right up to the water and sit on the rocks by the rapids. There are really good restaurants all in walking distance. They have concerts on the weekends and sometimes even host festivals in the area. The city works really hard to keep the Uptown Columbus area happening. Columbus is known as the ‘city of fountains’ so naturally they have some fountains there that add to the overall feel of the city.

  • Recommendations: I recommend living in this area. My husband (boyfriend at the time) had a cute loft right downtown, so we were always able to walk to restaurants and never had to worry about drinking and driving when we went out.
