"Riverstreet Downtown Savannah"

Love downtown Savannah!! Its very busy during the summer because of all the tourist!! There is shopping downtown and tons of places to eat and local bars, nightlife and touristy things!! Its a nice walk along riverstreet where you can see the old cotton exchange and buildings that have been around for ages! There also is Forsyth Park which has several great playgrounds and a nice walking loop that goes around the outside of the park. Keep in mind that parking fills up fast, so prepare to walk from a parking garage to your destination, unless you arrive mid-morning.

  • Recommendations: I would not necessarily recommend living in Savannah as the crime rate is higher here. It also is almost an hour drive to Ft. Stewart so that would make the commute rather long each day.
