"Previous post"
The post about the schools and Radcliff/Vine Grove area are an opinion and not fact. Visit our schools and community and see for yourself. I am a retired veteran and have lived in Vine Grove for 10 years. I have had a child graduate from North Hardin High School and a daughter go through elementary school and she is now in middle school. We love the area and would never consider leaving. We have the benefit of living in a small community, where neighbors truly care for each other; however, 35 minutes from Louisville, and a quick 8-10 minute drive to Fort Knox (with the convenient new roads). As stated earlier, visit any school in the Radcliff/Vine Grove area and I think you'd agree that it's a great place to live!

"Close to base"
Radcliff is not the ideal area. The schools are not highly rated. If you are looking to living off post take the few more miles out you will be in a safer area and closer to miltary families. The prices are lower but it comes at a price. If you are a single or no kids there is limited night life and activities.
