"Location, charm, and the beach!"
Sneads Ferry is a small town with rich history that it's residents are proud of. Located on the south side of Camp Lejeune, Sneads Ferry provides quaint, country-coastal, fishing village charm with close proximity to major military locations and the beach. If you are looking for a place where everyone knows your name, the housing prices are affordable, and you can smell the salt air, the Ferry is the place to be! There are many local businesses that give back to their patrons and community, many churches to attend if that's your fancy, and a plethora of places to enjoy outdoor water sports, such as boating, kayaking, or stand-up paddleboarding. The weather is also great, too! You can expect temperatures in the 50s and 60s into December, with hot temperatures perfect for enjoying the beach in the summer. If you're called to Camp Lejeune, Stone Bay, or MCAS New River, definitely check out Sneads Ferry for your housing needs. You'll fall in love!

- How would you describe this Area of Town: artistic, parks and recreation, neighborhood, outdoor activities, touristy, locals spot
- Recommendations: I would not recommend living in this area if you want commercial luxuries, such as chain restaurants and Walmarts. There aren't any and the locals prefer to keep it that way. You will have to travel about 20-25 minutes to reach a larger city such as Jacksonville with these types of retail and food establishments.
