"Quaint and Beautiful"

Dam Neck is a quiet area and not too crowded, beach is always clean and well taken care of. Far enough away that it doesn't have too much of a military crowd. There are lots of great restaurants (Red Robin, local Mexican places (Senor Fox!), Whiskey Kitchen, ect.) and shops nearby as well as a large mall. It's a area to live in general.

I enjoyed living near Dam Neck Beach. The beach is a lot less crowded than the oceanfront and there are no restrictions on when you can surf.

  • Recommendations: I recommend living near this area. The beach is nice, it's close to NAS Oceana, and It's still close to the oceanfront so you can enjoy the restaurants, nightlife, etc..
