This area has been great for us. It's not really expensive, nor is it in the "ghetto" type of area. We're about 5 minutes from Little Creek Base.

- How would you describe this Area of Town: Outdoor Activities, Parks and Recreation
- Recommendations: I recommend this area if you like/enjoy frequent visits to the beach. There is public access within two blocks from our house.

"Oceanview is rough with pockets of a few nice"
This area is run down but the city is trying to revamp it. It is right on the Chesapeake Bay so it has beautiful views and great locations. It is a rougher part of town. Hopefully the city will keep building it up because it is prime real estate location. There are a lot of run down motels in this area and who knows what is going on inside.

- How would you describe this Area of Town: neighborhood
- Recommendations: I don't recommend living near the middle of Oceanview Avenue. A nicer area known for their real estate location is Willoughby Spit and I would live there but it's all the way on the West end of Oceanview. I would also live where Oceanview meets Shore Drive, which is the East end of Oceanview Avenue. This is where East Beach neighborhood is and it's a very nice NEW neighborhood.
