"Golf course community with many amenities"

Well kept community only 20 mins to NAS Jacksonville. Larger homes with smaller lots however the amenities make up for it. Golf, tennis, fitness center, kids play area, kiddie pool, resort pool, dive/lap pool, adult only pool and many social programs. Community has many kids in all age ranges.
Golf cart friendly community.

"A golfers delight"

We live near some of the land which is undeveloped which means we don't have many neighbors. Eagle Landing is set up pretty poorly so the same speed limit is expected throughout the entire area (which is big) so I don't feel too safe letting my kids play in the driveway because cars go by at about 40 mph even though the speed limit is 15. The pool is okay (better for experienced swimmers rather than young kids) but the playground, treehouse, and mini golf is definitely a plus for the younger kids. Golf is okay I guess but I don't have time to play. We like to canoe in the lake by the entrance but biking around in our area is pretty horrible because there are so many lots that are not built on so there is no side walk which means my young kids are having to go up and down the curbs all the time changing from riding on the sidewalk to street.

  • Recommendations: Oakleaf is a great area too and I like the setups of the subdivisions much better than Eagle Landing. Oakleaf also has 2 pools that are very cool that residents of Eagle Landing are not allowed to use.
