"Great Location/Huge Yards"
We recently moved to the Fort Leavenworth area and I would highly recommend this neighborhood. There are tons of other military families in the subdivision and you are located less than 5 miles to base. The neighborhood has a stocked fishing pond, a playscape and is conveniently located to the fire station and one of the newer elementary schools in town. It is close to the base, downtown Leavenworth, the local gym and to the Legends shopping center. You are also within walking distance to the walking/running path on 20th street. The yards here are HUGE compared to other neighborhoods I have seen which comes in handy with pets and children. The only downside is that they are still building in the neighborhood so if you are close to one of the new builds, it can be loud. But they seem to be quick about getting the houses completed.
