"Vine Grove"
Vine Grove is an excellent community to live. The neighborhood is tranquil and kid-friendly. The city is safe to the point where you will see people leave their garage door open all day. The neighbors are nice. Majority of the members in this community are in the military, retired veterans or veterans. The community is also diverse. There is a small shopping center which is only a 5 minute (walk) commute.
If you're looking for larger stores or shopping centers, you will have to travel to Radcliff(5-minute drive) or Elizabethtown(10-15 minute drive). Louisville(35-minute drive) is the closest major city near our location. Overall living in Vine Grove has been a great experience.

Vine Grove is a small town with big city pride, which makes it an ideal place to raise a family.
Vine Grove is located at the northern end of Hardin County, just a short drive from Fort Knox. As the third largest city in Hardin County, our population is approximately 4196 and growing.
The community places emphasis on family, with a variety of programs aimed toward our youth.
Vine Grove is free from the hustle and bustle often found in larger towns, but still close enough to larger cities, such as Louisville to make it attractive to those who would like to enjoy the best of both worlds.
With several new major subdivisions under development, Vine Grove shows promise in providing homes in which new families may join in the small town atmosphere.
Many Military families chose this area for the military retirement community and the rural housing area.
