"Hidden gem"

My husband has been stationed at Bragg for 8 years. He has heard so many awful things about Fayetteville. He was living in Cameron with a few friends until I moved here from Dalls in 2015. I changed his mind about living in Fayetteville and we lived in a nice apartment complex just outside of the all American gate. Now, we have a husky and a one year old, so we decided to buy a home. I have heard really good things about Haymount and drove through it going to downtown. It gave me a good feeling every time I drove through it. A lot of older homes with character are in haymount. We have been here since August and love it so much. We walk about the neighborhood every night. We are in walking distance to the local theater and boutiques. The neighborhood does a movie night at the park once a month, neighbors look out for one another. And people take care of their homes and lawns. It's amazing!!
