"Family neighborhood, great location"

We rented a home (38 Toppa Blvd), LOVED the area, but would NOT recommend that specific house. It was good walking distance to downtown, the Cliff Walk, and a very short drive to base. Loved the pediatrics clinic on base, they were wonderful with my little guys. My only warning about Newport in general is there are some patchy spots with unsafe seeming areas notably between base and Broadway.
