"Well maintained, family-friendly neighborhood"

We lived in this neighborhood for about a year and a half. It's a collection of very well maintained Carothers Homes that were built around 2006-2009. There's a great mix of enlisted and officers families most of whom have kids. There are also some civilian families as well. The area is close to Skipcha Elementary, which is a great school in KISD. There's also easy access to 190 and all of the new shops and restaurants in Harker Heights. We moved here after living on post for a while and LOVED the change! We highly recommend this beautiful, convenient area! I lived there alone while my husband was deployed and always felt extremely safe!
