"Well maintained 1950's neighborhood."
Lamar Park is an established 50's neighborhood where the people are friendly and they take pride in their homes and yards. It sits two blocks in from the Corpus Christi Bay between a park (where people play frisbee golf) and the upscale Lamar Park shopping center. It's convenient to many exciting activities downtown (sailing, museums, American Bank Center shows, Cole Park, Art Walk, etc). There are some good private schools nearby where many of the neighborhood kids attend. Taking Ocean Drive to NAS CC's back gate is a beautiful drive to and from work every day!
