"Elmendorf Military Housing"
Elmendorf has very nice and updated housing. It is within close vicinity to the commissary, PX, shoppette, food court, and main gates. There is a local Alaskan high school a few minute drive from housing as well as a huge shopping center with Target, home depot, Kohls, IHOP, a movie theatre and more so if you have kids, theres lots to do just right outside of the gate. You will see a lot of wildlife living on Elmendorf such as moose, foxes, wolves, and possibly some black bears. Alaskan housing can be very expensive so I recommend living in on base housing if you can.
