"Fort Meade Housing Area"
As I was leaving Fort Meade, they were building all new houses. Once they would get a new housedone, they would transfer one of the military families from the old housing so they could tear it down to one of the new houses. So I got to see the old and the new housing. Its quite a difference, the newer housing they have there now is very nice. Fort Meade has everything you need all within walking distance from the housing, the schools, the px, commissary, food court, and at the shoppette. Not only that, but the housing area is near so many things like malls, washington D.c., shopping centers, restaurants. You will never run out of things to do while living on Fort Meade. While the base is very safe, you do have to be watchful of some areas right outside base that are not so safe.

"Who Renovated This ?"
Worst neighborhood on post. By far. Do not accept housing here. The location is really good, but the houses are really small, parking is the worst, and the renovations. Oh dear, my "newly renovated" home was falling apart and cracking and molding.
The kitchen has like 4 cabinets total and no place to put food, and it's not very private feeling at all.
