Fort Sam Houston: Lincoln Military Housing

"Lackland base housing"
We had the worst experience living on this base, day two of living we reported mold, week one we reported a leak in the ceiling downstairs. That was not properly dealt with until we went as high as we could to get help witch still didn’t help. We went with a huge hole in the ceiling leaking from July until the end of October I’m 100% if we didn’t stay on them they wouldn’t have fixed it. The management and regional really could care less they say what you want to hear and nothing gets solved. The house over all was nice but the didn’t build with a return upstairs so creating a lot of issues with the house like mold that doesn’t actually get taken care of.

"JBSA housing"
The historical housing on Fort Sam Houston reminds me of the movie the “Money Pit” with Tom Hanks. Good luck!

"Excellent Housing"
The houses are well kept. Housing makes sure that if something is wrong, they take care of it quickly. They also perform annual checks to make sure they catch potential problems early. They really take care of us here.
