Fort Hood: Kouma

We LOVE living in Kouma Village. It's "off post, post housing" so we don't have to go through the gate but we have the benefits of MPs patrolling a lot and you're around military families. We have kids and got a nice 4 bedroom house. I definitely recommend you live in Kouma

PRIVATIZED HOUSING INFORMATION
Fort Hood housing is provided by a partnership between the Army and Actus Lend Lease LLC. Housing at Fort Hood was one of the first in the Army to undergo privatization. This partnership began in 2001 and has created master planned communities on the installation. Actus Lend Lease provides free lawn care services to Families of deployed service members. To register, Families should register at their local administrative office. Housing areas are serviced by elected mayors and units who are responsible for their assigned housing area.
