"Fort Belvoir Housing"

Kid friendly, Horrible house design. We live in Herryford village on Fort Belvoir, VA. We like the house but it could been contructed differenly. The kitchen is TINY and the backyard sucks!! But I'm thankful to have a house and it's fine for military housing. I've heard and seen of worse. The area itself has alot of traffic at the rush hour times (starting and ending work) The neighborhood has alot of kids which is nice but i haven't found it easy to make friends like i had at the last base.

  • Recommendations: The first new neighborhood, Herryford Village, was completed in early 2005 for pay grades E1-E5. Vernondale Village, occupied with pay grades E6-E8 has also been completed. Lewis Village, occupied with an open rank structure, has been finished. Cedar Grove, has completed the final phases of construction for pay grades 04/05-W4/W5.
