"Great little neighborhood in Lemoore"

I love our neighborhood! It's really close to base without actually living on base. My husband is able to get to the OPS side of the base in about 15-20 minutes. I wasn't thrilled with the elementary school that we would be assigned to, so I opted for an inter district transfer and take my 1st grader to the school on base. I couldn't be happier. The neighborhood is mostly civilian but there are a few other officer families in the area and there is an enlisted family down the street. Very pet friendly as most everyone has a dog. There is a great park right across the street. I have never felt unsafe in our home. We are about a mile from the police station and fire department. There is a shopping center with a Savemart, Kmart, Walgreens, a pizza place, a beauty salon, Dollar Tree, McDonalds, Taco Bell, BurgerKing, KFC, and a great little donut shop less than a mile away. Oh and I work in Fresno and have only a hop skip and jump to hwy 41 so it takes me less than an hour to get to work.
