"Bluffton is the best of the Low Country with all the modern conveniences you want."

The whole entire Buckwalter tract is a really wonderful place to live. It has grown a lot since we have been here which at the time was a bit painful. However, all of the community infrastructure is now in and going strong. We have a new Rec center, skate park, new Tennis Courts and soccer fields all built last year. There is a new Olympic size aquatic center on the horizon too. BWT now has its own Publix midway on the pkwy as well as a new Parkers gas station. Bluffton is an easy nearly straight drive to Beaufort and usually takes my husband about 25 minutes to drive with little or no traffic in the morning. As a matter of fact it takes him less time to get to the base than people driving from north of the base on Lady's Island. We love it here and are considering it for a place to live after retirement. Choose your neighborhood based on your criteria ie: lots of kids, few kids and etc. there is a neighborhood to fit everyone here.
