"Great Neighborhood, Close to SO much"

Great 20-25 year old neighborhood (with newer phases being a bit nicer). 10-15 minute door to door commute to Oceana via Back Gate. Walking distance to Landstown Commons shopping area with food and more. Multiple VB parks in neighborhood with great playgrounds. Can here concerts from amphitheater from your porch. Friendly and helpful neighbors, many military or retired families. Running/biking path out of neighborhood that connects to Dam Neck at Rosemont Road, giving miles to run or ride with minimal road crossings down Dam Neck. Perfect neighborhood for young families and first homes. Set to widen Holland Rd at some point in the future and that will cause construction and back ups, but neighborhood has 3 entrances off of Holland, 1 off Princess Anne, and 1 off of Dam Neck, giving plenty of escape routes. Overall loved living in our home and will be sad when we outgrow our house or get moving orders. We don't know much about the schools b/c we have no school aged children yet.

"Some kids - mostly older and pretty quiet area"

Landstown Commons opened up a few years ago. Well-established and less than a mile away. Winterberry is a cut through between Princess Anne and Holland and people speed through here sometimes. A lot of military and retirees here. Prices have dropped in the last five years and several vacancies and foreclosures but not run down or crime-ridden. Great schools.
