We loved living in Dominion Lakes! Both sets of families that rented our home, after we transferred with the military, couldn't say enough good things about the house, neighborhood and wonderful neighbors. Still holding onto the home for life after the military.

"Great neighborhood"

We have owned our home in Dominion Lakes for over 10 years. Easy commute to all bases. Lots of military families as well as civilians, who are very welcoming to the military.

"Easy Access to Freeway"

While this attractive subdivision has large, newer homes, the general "feel" of the neighborhood is not particularly friendly. Due to some peculiar school boundaries, the high school students are bused 8 miles. The elementary students are bused 5 miles and the middle and intermediate students attend nearby, recently fully accredited schools. Due to it's location, the area serves as a traffic cut through. We had issues with speeding cars and juvenile crimes (street fights, parties).
