Camp Pendleton: Del Mar Housing

Hands down the best place we have ever lived! The gorgeous ocean views!!! You live on the beach, have access to the harbor, PX, Commissary, Hospital, shopping and access to the Highway. We loved living here!

Great neighborhood living, the houses are newly renovated and you're super close to the Harbor. You can walk down the side gate and eat dinner at one of the many restaurants, get ice cream or go out to breakfast.

There's a lot of shopping and activities around. Most of the base activities are really close to that end. But there is a caveat.

The schools are REALLY bad. The elementary school is just okay, but the high school and junior high are terrible. Most people who live there end up putting their kids in private schools.
