Has nice parks and trails. Very rural. Nothing is really wrong with this town, but not much to do at all without a long drive.

Being stationed at NAS Whiting Field? Then most likely you will be living in the small town Milton. It is a nice, cozy area but not for me and I would not likely live here voluntarily. If you are stationed here I recommend Pace or Pensacola (a bit more of a drive but much more going on, too so it may be worth it). I live on base housing which is fine but a little expensive. I also don't have kids so I do not have a larger sense of the community but everyone around here is friendly. The weather can be a drag during the summer but not much can be done about it other than hanging inside with the air condition on!
