"Not What You Think"
Bought a home here and lived in it for 12 years because the housing authority on Fort Ord insisted on keeping us in the asbestos infested mold trap that was too small to be comfortable in. Turned out to be a bad investment. These properties fluctuate in value a lot. It is too often foggy, drizzly, cold, and windy. These homes are very close together. If you can get a home on base for the cost of your housing allowance you would be much better off.

"Nice homes, not very social"
This neighborhood has spacious and generally updated homes. There is a nice walking trail that runs through the neighborhood and has sidewalks throughout. The homeowners association keeps the neighborhood well manicured.
