Spring Valley: Off Base Neighborhood/Subdivision

"Spring Valley Housing Area"

Spring Valley is a very nice housing area in Junction City. The housing in the area is newer and some houses do have special taxes so if you are looking to buy in the area please be aware of that. The Realtors are generally very good at notifying potential buyers of any special taxes and can give a mortgage estimate with the tax. I have multiple friends that live in the Spring Valley area and one thing I notice every time I go there is how clean it is. The houses and yards are well kept and the sidewalks are in good condition. I go jogging in that area a lot and there are plenty of sidewalks to keep you out of the street. I would be cautious about walking or running in the street though as people tend to drive fast through that neighborhood. The elementary school in the Spring Valley area is very nice and depending on what part of spring valley you live in, the middle school is not far away at all. The middle school is also a newer school compared to all the other schools in Junction City. Spring Valley has a lot of houses with multiple bedrooms so there are a lot of families with children that live in the area. It's one of the few places you can drive through and still see a lot of kids playing outside instead of inside playing video games! Overall a very good neighborhood.
