My daughter has attended Grassfield High School for two years. The school is one of the newest in the district with technology in all of the classrooms. They have smart boards for the teachers to use. They are excellent at parent communication and have automated calls as well as Edline as a tool for parents to track a student's progress or contact a teacher. My daughter is taking some honors classes and there are many available. Grassfield operates on a 4 by 4 block. This means that each semester each student takes four classes. Each class is around 90 minutes and at the end of the semester they will have 4 full credits. This gives a student an opportunity to take 8 classes a year. There are many diverse course offerings at Grassfield with this format. There are more opportunities to take a range of classes on this schedule from guitar to introduction to interior design. Grassfield is the magnet school for the Tech Academy which requires admission into the program.
