"Allentown neighborhood, Buffalo"
This area has a very eclectic feeling. It is close to several of the downtown museums and art galleries as well as Buffalo State College. I would describe the are as artistic and cultural with a lively nightlife. There are many bars and restaurants. The restaurants are not chains but mainly local spots where you can find a variety of appetizing menus. There is a large student population as well as a large LGBTQ population in this area. They have a farmers market and many festivals during the summer months. I wouldn't recommend a family living in this area, but it would be perfect for a single or a married couple. Lots of things to do in walking distance, and it is within Buffalo city limits, so if working downtown you could use public transportation.

- Recommendations: Great area for singles or married with no kids. I would not recommend families living here because of the hight student population and lively nightlife.
