Hamburg: Off Base Area of Town

This area is in close proximity to the Buffalo metro area, but is considered one of Buffalo's "south towns", meaning that they usually have a higher snowfall total every winter. The lake effect snow bands tend to be worse in these areas. This is a very suburban area, with an easy drive into the city. It is also close proximity to the Coast Guard base. There are several chain restaurants, as well as a few local polish and BBQ places. The schools are rates highly in this area. Homes in this area are mixed. The closer to the city the chances that the homes are a bit older, but as you travel further out there are many new construction developments. Great area for families!!
