Depew: Off Base Area of Town

"Depew"

This is an older area of Buffalo. For the most part is is a maze of pot hole stricken roads and highways that run through it. It is also the end of the NYS thruway which brings a massive amount of traffic through the area. The neighborhoods are older more established neighborhoods, with the housing prices being a bit lower because of the surrounding area. There is a lot of factories, and businesses in this area. Office buildings and chain restaurants are a common theme. It has a very easy access to the highway so its a piece of cake to get in and out of the city, but during the winter this area does see a bit more snow than the metro area.
